We’ve listened to feedback from past residents and have put together a guide on our room categories to help you make the best decision when booking with us. We want you to be overjoyed with your new room when you arrive and our new categorisations clearly label the differences between each room so you can book with confidence. So, if you rate a better view over a little extra space, or a higher floor over courtyard views, that’ll be easier to choose.

Our room sizes differ depending on accommodation. Because of this we make it clear in the booking process what size of room you will be moving into.

Smaller rooms are a little more snug, offering a cosy feel.

Bigger rooms have tonnes of great space, helping you to better separate your sleeping, living & kitchen area.

At Hello Student we want you to feel as though our accommodations are your home from home, that’s why we offer a range of room types to cater to the different lifestyles of the students who live with us.

We offer a range of studios, one bed apartments, shared apartments for communal living, townhouses for a more homely feel and duplex studios to help balance out living spaces from bedroom spaces.

No matter what your vibe is, we’ve got you covered.

From talking to students, we found that the view from their room and the bathroom options are some of the most important factors when booking student accommodation.

So, for some of our rooms, we specify what extras you can expect when you move in.

If you’re studying in Edinburgh and want a view of the castle, we’ve got you covered. If you care more about getting the best price and the view isn’t a big deal, a room with a limited view might be perfect for you.

Not worried about having an ensuite? We’ll let you know if a shared bathroom is an option.
