Meet Olivia
“Since living at Hello Student I’ve now found a new self-confidence. I’ve really learned to put myself out there and meeting new people. I’ve also learned how to cook clean, which is absolutely amazing. It’s such a life skill.
The accommodation is absolutely amazing with the best facilities. The staff are lovely and I now call this place my home away from home.”
Meet Hannah
“My degree is neuroscience. My focus within my degree is neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.
Why did I choose to live in a Hello student accommodation? My support system is 3,000 miles away in the US, and I really wanted to make sure I had somewhere safe and reliable to live. I decided to live here because the people at the front desk, and the team that work here are amazing. They’re super nice.”
Meet Aiden
“What made me want to live in a Hello student property? The gym, the social rooms, the study rooms. I’m really happy with it and I don’t think I could have made a better decision.
I chose to study film production because I want to be a director for pretty big movies and it’s a really, really good place for that.
What do you love most about living with Hello Student? I just love the place. My room itself is a pretty good size. I’m just really happy with it.
I’ve met a lot of people, a lot of great people. I just love it in all honesty. I think it’s probably been the best decision that I’ve made so far.”
Meet Charlee
“So, since living with Hello Student, I’ve learned that it’s okay to be independent. That might sound silly, but before I came to university, I was adamant that I was going to be visiting home at least once a week. I’ve actually learned that it’s okay to be here on my own, it’s okay to be independent.
One thing that I don’t think people talk about enough when you move in is how excited you get to decorate your own room. It makes it so much more homely when your rooms decorated nice, you want to be there more and it feels so much more comforting as well.
I know after a long hard day of studying I get to come back here and unwind.”
Meet Amy
“Have I picked up any new skills whilst being here? Not picked up a new skill, reignited with an old skill. I go to the Hello student gym, they have a treadmill there, which is unreal – I just don’t always like running outside, sometimes you just want to be inside a warm environment.
I was definitely drawn to the fact that, you could book with your friends. I live with, 3 girls that I knew before, and it’s kind of like we have our own independence.
Our Hello student building Chatham lodge is literally on campus, it’s so ideal in the mornings. Me and my flat mates will literally leave the house at 10 minutes til 9 and go to our 9 AM.”
